MBAM
This MBAM project is a mix of geometric intelligence and programmatic clustering. Interpreting the client’s brief, the proposal seeks to define a building with 3 primary objectives: Architectural Innovation, Engineered Design and Construction Excellence. Each of these elements has been delicately interpreted to create a unique identity for MBAM.
Typologically, the proposal rejects the typical block type which emphasizes on enclosure and architecture as object. Instead, using mathematically defined planes, the building’s primary park facing view is divided into 4, creating clarity in programmatic clustering consisting of offices, training academy, revenue generating spaces and public spaces. This is conceived via the primary X-frame structure which is both dramatically formal in nature and yet thoroughly functional.
This simple gesture creates a diverse yet intimate spaces with an ambition to inspire future builders, fuel innovation and be a true exemplar of sustainable development. Ultimately creating true richness in experience and narrative for the community and more importantly for MBAM.
